Annual Millage Rate and Budget

 

1.         FY 2010-2011 Tentative Millage Rate.  First Public Hearing and consideration of  adopting the tentative millage rate for the City of Lighthouse Point, Florida, General Operating Fund and Series 2002 Sinking Fund for the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2010 and ending September 30, 2011, and setting the date, time, and place for the second public hearing.

 

2.         FY 2010-2011 Tentative Budget. First Public Hearing and consideration of adopting the tentative annual budget of estimated receipts and expenses for all funds of the City of Lighthouse Point, Florida, for the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2010 and ending September 30, 2011, and setting the date, time, and place for the second public hearing.

 

Annual Special Assessments

 

3.         Public Hearing and consideration of a Resolution establishing the rates for the Fire Protection Special Assessment for the Fiscal Year beginning on October 1, 2010.  Advertised in the Miami Herald on August 15, 2010.

 

This is a public hearing at which time the City Commission will receive and consider any comments on the Fire Protection Special Assessments from the public and affected property owners regarding imposing Fire Protection Special Assessments for the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2010, and collecting such assessments on the same bill as ad valorem taxes.

 

4.         Public Hearing and consideration of a Resolution establishing the rates for the Stormwater Special Assessment for the Fiscal Year beginning on October 1, 2010. Advertised in the Miami Herald on August 15, 2010.

 

            This is a public hearing at which time the City Commission will receive and consider any comments on the Stormwater Special Assessments from the public and affected property owners regarding imposing Stormwater Special Assessments for the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2010, and collecting such assessments on the same bill as ad valorem taxes.
