TRASH COLLECTION SERVICES FOR JULY 3, 2009

On Friday, July 3, 2009, the regularly scheduled trash, bulk and recycle collection will be in effect for those residents with a Friday collection day.

Users can call 511 from their cellular or landline phone, or access the information on the Internet, for real-time information on traffic, accidents, road closures, and severe weather on major roads in Florida. Users can also customize primary and alternate travel routes to numerous locations throughout the State.

Morning session: 10:00 a.m. to noon
Afternoon session: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
$125 LHP Residents

Broward County Homestead Exemption

The Broward County Property Appraiser’s Office will be in the Library Community Room on July 13th and the 2nd Monday of each month, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in order to help residents apply for a Homestead Exemption.

”Resident” Auto Decals: The 2009 decals are available to all residents of Lighthouse Point. The decals help Police Officers easily identify resident vehicles. The decals can be picked up at the Lighthouse Point Police Department. A donation is appreciated to cover the costs of producing the decals.
