NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION

The City of Lighthouse Point will hold Municipal Elections on Tuesday, January 31, 2012. The date of our City election for 2012 has been changed to January to coincide with the Presidential Preference Primary election. Voting will be held to fill two (2) City Commission seats. Following are the candidate choices for those Commission Seats:

Seat No. 1 - Tom Hasis OR Earl Maucker

Seat No. 3 - Susie E. Gordon OR Rebecca "Becky" Lysengen

In Seat No. 2, Michael S. Long has been considered re-elected for a term of three (3) years, as no other candidate filed for this seat.

Please remember to vote on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.

Library Director Doreen Gauthier, who recently retired after serving LHP residents for 33 years.

Officer Mike McDace (posthumously), who served the City for a total of 34 years, first in the LHP Police Department and later in Code Enforcement.
